When we think about our Gurgaon, the first thought that comes to mind is that of concrete buildings, flyovers, Malls, shopping, traffic and similar chaos. But amidst all the city craziness is a mini natural wonder where one can watch Peacocks, Phesants and other birds. This little wonder is called Ummm!! nothing so far. Well, nothing because no one really paid attention to it, forget giving a name.
There is a catch!
On an ordinary day, commuters travel through the Faridabad-Gurgaon road (Pahari wala rasta) and notice nothing. In both the Winter and Summer seasons, this place doesn’t attract anyone. No one commutes for the sense of adventure.
It was a pleasant monsoon morning that made us visit the lovely mini wonder where we saw many Peacocks and Peahens, some even in compromising position. Ahem! See the video.
Jokes apart, it is definitely worth watching the birds in their natural habitat. You will love it as this mini Jungle has hundreds of peacocks which are easy to spot. The experience of bird watching in their natural surroundings, is unique.
Location – It is located behind the Golf Course Road. Gurgaon-Faridabad road on the right side very near to Ghata gaon.
